The GPG launches another Contact Centre
The Gauteng Provincial Government will be launching a third Contact Centre in Sedibeng in Vereeniging on Friday the 2 nd , March 2007. This contact Centre, like the other two (Fox Street in the City Centre and Wynberg) will be dealing with queries from the public and is also reachable on the 0860 Gauteng or 0860 428 8363 number which is a shared call, ensuring the public doesn't have to bear the full cost for the call.
The Sedibeng Contact Centre will operate from Monday to Friday between 8am and 4pm
The Gauteng Provincial Government is launching this Centre as a proof of government's commitment to fulfilling promises it made to citizens evident in the Batho Pele principle of enhancing the quality and accessibility of government services.
It will be providing services in the following areas:
• Public Service Information Line
• Bana Pele Information Line
• Public Transport Information Line (PITIL)
• GEP Helpline
• Drivers and Learners License Booking Service
• GSSC Finance
• GSSC Human Resources
• GSSC Procurement
